Keeping Film & TV in Tennessee!

We’ve been excited when we see local landmarks in movies and TV programs. But other states are grabbing Tennessee stories away from us – The Academy Award-winning Memphis story “The Blind Side” was shot in Georgia!  What have they got that we haven’t got?  Other states offer incentive programs to entice production companies to hire their film and television professionals – instead of the ones here!  The Association for the Future of Film and Television in Tennessee is working to encourage our lawmakers to support a bill: the Tennessee Entertainment Industry Investment Act.  To learn more, and to see the video hosted by Dolly Parton and featuring hard-working professionals throughout the state, head to the AFFT’s website.  Then contact your legislators!
