Running Pony is a full-service creative agency based in Memphis, TN, offering unpaid internships for academic credit. Selected candidates will assist our staff across a range of disciplines — from corporate video production and commercials to brand development, web design, and digital marketing.

Production-focused interns will work hands-on with the film crew across a wide range of client projects. Post-production interns will work directly with editors and producers, with opportunities to observe or assist in the editing process. Candidates interested in our digital services will work alongside our brand, web, and marketing team on real client projects to move the needle. Interns will gain experience across multiple disciplines throughout the program.

The Program

This isn’t busy work. 

At Running Pony, our interns work. From day one, you’re on set with our crew, in the edit bay with our editors, or working alongside our digital team on real client projects — not fetching coffee or sorting paperwork. We work with national brands, regional clients, and everything in between, giving you exposure to creative challenges that most graduates don’t see for years.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across whichever disciplines you pursue, building a real portfolio and real professional relationships in the process.

Choose Your Track

ThREE PATHS. One Team.

Production

Work hands-on with our film crew across all departments — cameras, lighting, audio, grip, and more. You’ll be on real shoots with real clients from day one, learning what it takes to run a professional production.

Post-Production

Work alongside our editors and producers in Avid and Premiere suites, our dedicated color suite, and our full audio finishing suite. Observe and assist in the process that transforms raw footage into finished stories.

Digital

Work with our digital teams on real client projects spanning brand development, website design and development, digital marketing campaigns, strategy and more.
