Running Pony was in the driver’s seat on the “Road to Memphis” recently, livestreaming an event that took viewers from the Stax Museum in Memphis to the Houses of Parliament in the United Kingdom.

The occasion was the launch of an international song contest to promote mental health and connect global music community resources and assistance. According to the organizers, It was the first time a U.S. city has gone live to U.K. parliament for a project of this nature.
More than 25-thousand people tuned-in for the live “Road to Memphis” broadcast that originated here and included live video feeds from London and Liverpool. The standing-room-only crowd in Stax Museum’s Studio A was treated to a multi-camera production with leading influencers speaking in front of a large video wall.
Memphis is host city for year three of the competition, which was created by The Unity of Faith Foundations (TUFF), headquartered in Liverpool. The song contest serves as a vehicle to showcase global music cities, while also promoting mental health within the music and creative community. Finalist will perform in Memphis in November.
